Hello! I am Isidora Rollan Zegers, a dedicated product manager and data scientist who leverages data to drive business decisions and to create customer-centric products. I have a strong background in data analysis, machine learning, and product management, and I thrive in dynamic environments where I can apply my skills to create impactful solution. I love new challenges and I can adapt easily to changes.

I have six years of professional experience, two years in management consulting and four years in product roles. I graduated on May 2024 from University of California, Berkeley with a Master's in Information Management and Systems with a certification in Applied Data Science.

Previous Experience

Data and Marketing Analysis Intern for Utility Partnerships at 3Degrees Inc (Jun 2023 – Aug 2023)

Successfully integrated data sources and tools to create a more efficient and cost-effective data analytics ecosystem for the Utility Partnerships team.
Conducted in-depth interviews with program managers and analyzed existing data workflow to standardize data management practices, resulting in a more streamlined, less error-prone monthly reporting process.

Product Owner at Falabella Financiero (Mar 2021 – Jun 2022)

Rolled out an onboarding web app experience in 3 months, partnering with the risk management team to reduce constraints to open checking accounts online, increasing sales by 10x, and decreasing customer time needed to activate accounts from 1 hour (on-site) to less than 5 minutes (online).
Managed a team of 10 developers through scrum methodology, partnering with cross-functional teams to prioritize and create user stories to implement new features, and leading the complete software development life cycle.

Head of Product, Credit Card at Banco Falabella (Apr 2020 – Feb 2021)

Increased credit card sales by 7x in digital channels by collaborating with e-commerce partners to launch a new digital credit card with a discount on the first purchase in those partnerships.
Brought in $1M and approximately 350K new clients in one year through innovative marketing campaigns and growth initiatives.
Led two product managers to develop sales for credit cards, set OKRs, prioritized initiatives, analyzed profitability, created and implemented a marketing and sales plan, and presented results to the CEO and other stakeholders.

Product Manager, Digital Channels at Banco Falabella (Apr 2019 – Mar 2020)

Improved productivity of engineering and operations teams by unifying the web and app experiences across two core businesses and simplifying the digital experience of over 500K clients.
Partnered cross-functionally across engineering, product, marketing, risk, and fraud teams to manage regular app and web releases, ensuring minimal customer interruptions.

Business Analyst at McKinsey & Company (Mar 2016 – Jan 2018)

Led client teams of 2 to 3 people to deliver compelling and actionable strategies for an airline, a bank, and a forestry company, showing high flexibility and capability to work under pressure by consistently delivering on time.
Founded the Data Governance Team for a bank in Chile and built the main structure to implement Big Data.
Reduced general costs by 30% in a forestry company, unifying the three main branches of the company through a data-driven approach and resource allocation.

Portfolio

Refiberd Tag Reader (2024)

This was the final project to graduate from MIMS. We partnered with Refiberd, a company based in Oakland, California, that is using high-end technology to identify fabric composition. To launch this product to the market, they need to train a Machine learning model with as much data as possible. The objective of the project was to replace labeling samples by hand to an automated process.

Through this project we managed to reduce work force required to collect training data labels by 50%.

Computer Vision for Fabric Identification (2024)

On this project, we used some computer vision machine learning techniques to identify the fabric composition of a dataset of 20,000 samples of 6 differents types of fabric

Analyzing Kindness in Reddit (2023)

For this project, we selected particular subreddits to identify if kindness has changed through time. Using Natural Language Processing, we classified the different posts as kind and not kind and we analyzed the results throughout the years.

Checking Account Opening 100% online (2021-2022)

As Product Owner, the goal was to develop the whole experience of opening checking accounts 100% online uisng what had been done for the credit card experience and the backend services as they were for the branch opening. I had a deadline of 3 months and a team of 5 people to do this. We were able to deliver the MVP on time.

The rest of my time as a PO, I continued adding new features, improving look and feel and performance of the web applications and embedding the flow in the app.
